Stairwell Christmas

My Shoe Tree

The upper part of the display with the "Dear Santa, Let Me Explain..." Shirt.

The shiny trees and Presents under the Christmas tree

The Whole space! It was a real Pink and Red Theme there this year and I kind of like it. I still look having the Stairwell as the one place to put my pretty girly things that the little ones can't get to. Especially now that Greg is getting into EVERYTHING!!!

Girly stairs

For the last few months my Stairwell display has stayed the same. Either because I'm too lazy to change it, Or because I Love having all my Girly pieces somewhere on display that little hands can't get too. One or the other I'm not sure which.

But, I hoping to get some Christmas decorating finally done this weekend. So it's about to change, and I realized I hadn't posted any pics of how it's looking now.

Happy St. Patricks Day

I'm so excited about our green and "GOLD" theme, madly trying to finish all the details for an event filled day. Managed to get the leprechaun hat done (you may be able to tell from the glue streaks in the picture that it's still drying). I'll be letting Nathan glue little shamrocks to it before our gold hunt tomorrow morning.
and this is the stairwell display, hopefully I'll find some stuff on sale this weekend so next years display won't look quite as sparse.

The display

Weird! I just went back through my old blog post and realized the first time I talked about this space in the stairwell was almost exactly a year ago HERE
And I have been decorating the space seasonally...at least since Halloween but I forgot to take any pictures until this Valentines one.

Actually I think part of the reason I haven't been taking a lot of pics of the space is it's a lot bigger and harder to fill up than I thought so it almost always looks unfinished. But I think I'll start taking pictures anyways so when I do it better the following year it feels like an even bigger accomplishment. Sound like a plan?
